Paw Prints is the concept of Camberwell College of Arts graduate Peter Butler. Incorporating his love of wildlife and passion for graphic design, Peter has been designing and printing his menagerie of clothing and accessories from his studio in Brixton, South
London, since 2002. He is driven by a desire to create fun, colourful products while maintaining an ethical approach to business, only working with socially responsible manufacturers. His kids’ T-shirts are made from organic cotton and his designs are printed with safe phthalate-free inks.
At the personal request of Vogue fashion director, Lucinda Chambers, Peter’s T-shirts have been featured in British Vogue. He has also found fans of his work in X Factor finalists Bratavio, Team GB Olympian Amber Jo Hill, as well as a number of influential fashion bloggers and TV personalities.
His eye-catching products, which include T-shirts, hoodies, bags and phone cases, are incredibly popular with both kids and adults alike and can be found at his outlet in Covent Garden’s Apple Market.
Peter is always happy to consider requests and commissions so please feel free to get in touch if you want to discuss your ideas. Although he’s unlikely to design a Patagonian pygmy shrew, you don’t know unless you ask. You can contact him at peter@pawprintslondon.com.
