In 1976 Olivier Baussan founded natural beauty brand L'Occitane en Provence. He began distilling rosemary essential oil to sell locally, this then expanded from oils to soaps to creams, taking inspiration from the land he grew up on to bring natural beauty to homes across the world. Made of traceable natural ingredients, each of our textures and fragrances tells their own story. That's why L'Occitane en Provence invests in research and follows a strict formulation charter to guarantee quality, efficiency, and pleasure of use.

L’OCCITANE work directly with over 130 French Farmers and 10,000 pickers to ensure that the ingredients we use are of the highest quality and sourced as sustainably as possible.

L’OCCITANE is more than just a brand. When the founder, Olivier Baussan, began distilling essential oils and selling them in his much-loved land of Provence.
