Vaudeville Theatre

The Vaudeville Theatre opened in 1870 and has been rebuilt twice, with each new building retaining elements of the previous structure.

The Vaudeville Theatre building opened in 1926 with rare thunder drum, lightning sheets and other early stage mechanisms still existing in the theatre to this day. Notable productions include Stomp!, Ladykillers, The Duck House, The Importance of Being Ernest, Emilia and most recently, SIX.
