Located on beautiful Floral Street, the Chestnut Bakery specialises in handcrafted breads, croissants, cakes, cookies and decadent desserts.
For something sweet to go with your coffee or tea, try the apple & butterscotch monkey bread or twice baked almond croissant. Their insta-famous twice baked lemon meringue croissant is also extremely delicious: Buttery & flaky croissant filled with lemon curd and topped with toasted Italian meringue.

For an authentic taste of Portugal, head straight to Santa Nata for their freshly made Pastéis de Nata ~ imagine crispy, buttery and impossibly flaky pastry shells filled with oozy custard, baked to perfection.
These delicious pastries are fresh daily and you can see the chefs working through the glass display. There are two sites in Covent Garden to choose from, and they serve great coffee too.
Look out for their summer specials including the Pastéis de Nata sundae and doughnuts!

Founded over 140 years ago in 1878, Venchi is a purveyor of fine chocolate and confectionery using many original recipes. Venchi also produces some of the best gelato in town - using only the finest ingredients from Italy - with no artificial colourants, flavours, thickeners or palm oil.
The gelato range is made with fresh milk and features seasonal fruit, Piedmont Hazelnuts, single-origin chocolate (from Ecuador, Venezuela and Peru), and Green Pistachios from Bronte. The only difficult thing is deciding which sweet treat to go for!

The signature cookies are crispy on the outside, yet chewy and soft in the centre - so each mouthful is just a taste sensation. The giant dark chocolate cookie with sea salt is a personal favourite ~ and there's also a vegan and gluten free cookie on the menu, which is super popular too!

Handmade by Chef Kimberly Lin (who has worked at some of the best restaurants and bakeries in town) - here you will find a wide range of vegan cookie options stuffed with popular fillings such as chocolate ganache, homemade raspberry jam, or date caramel.
A personal favourite is the vanilla and cinnamon crunch cookie stuffed with speculoos cream.Look out for their monthly special flavours too - including the choc fudge and pretzel cookie.
