Top Romantic Restaurants For Date Night

Love is in the Covent Garden air and we've got your top date night destinations to make your occasion oh so special.  Dress to impress and enjoy great food and even better company with our Top Romantic Restaurants Guide.

1

Ave Mario

Ave Mario is the latest - and grandest - Italian trattoria style restaurant to open in Covent Garden. From the team behind the ever popular Gloria & Circolo Popolare - Ave Mario brings fun energy, beautifully bold plates and freshly made pizza and pasta to the heart of Covent Garden.

You may have even spotted the restaurant’s striking interiors (and brigade of Italian chefs) featured in the latest Kylie x Jessie Ware disco themed music video.

For a memorable and flamboyant date night to impress the other half, we suggest ordering the fun (and slightly naughty) cocktails, giant plates of pasta and outrageous desserts. Highly recommend booking ahead to avoid disappointment.

SUSHISAMBA

SUSHISAMBA is a high energy restaurant bringing Japanese and Latin American vibes to the heart of London.

For the perfect date night - start with a drink at the bar and admire the ‘living ceiling’ - under an abundance of green foliage.

Signature dishes include the wagyu gyoza, lobster taquitos, and tiger prawn rolls. The miso black cod and classic sushi selection is also an absolute must!

The Oystermen

The Oystermen Bar & Kitchen is one of my favourite places for a romantic date night or quick pre-theatre dinner.

You can sit at the counter and choose from the daily blackboard specials and native oyster list. The fried whitebait and tempura oysters are also a popular choice.

The Dorset brown crab and bay leaf chips are incredible too. All washed down with glass (or a few) of fizz of course!
