The Rock & Sole Plaice

Rock & Sole Plaice is London's oldest fish and chip restaurant and has been serving the British classic since establishment in 1871. The restaurant is famous with locals and tourists alike and has been featured in over 3000 travel guides of London, in over 20 languages.

The restaurant only uses locally sourced, sustainable British fish, which has been described as the best in London. To this day the fish is still prepared using their 152 year-old traditional recipe.

The Seven Dials eatery has two floors of cosy inside seating, and an Al Fresco dining area, perfect for summer evenings spent in Covent Garden.
