The beautiful upstairs area of Opera Tavern features stunning interiors, exposed brickwork, bold artwork and flattering low lighting, creating the perfect atmosphere for an exclusive event or business meeting.

The Salt Yard family was born out of founders Sanja Moll and Simon Mullins’ experiences and love of eating and drinking throughout Spain and Italy. A bar stool in Seville for a glass of cold sherry and a plate of glisteningly fresh squid; a trattoria in Bologna for a shared dish of oozing pumpkin tortellini with sage butter, a board of cheeses with honey and a large glass of Barolo in Milan; a long trawl aroud the windy streets of San Sebastian for sautéed wild mushrooms at one places and crispy morcilla croquetas at another, with a Txakoli or two along the way. Their aim was to transfer all these experiences to the streets of London whilst adding in a generous splash of warm hospitality.

The Opera Tavern proudly continues to celebrate all things Spanish and Italian with our food and our wine lists, run engaging culinary events throughout the year and host numerous private parties. We work closely with local charities as well as with the Sustainable Restaurant Association.
