Brother Marcus

Brother Marcus is renowned across the capital for its Eastern Mediterranean take on brunch and sharing plates. Created by three friends Alex, Arthur and Tasos in 2016, the menu takes inspiration from Tasos’ Cretan heritage, using recipes passed down through generations. From the morning, Brother Marcus serves up a delicious spread for breakfast and brunch. Later in the day sharing plates merge tradition with the restaurant’s fresh, seasonal and imaginative approach to mezze.

At the heart of Brother Marcus are core values of sharing great food and making fond memories. Everyone is here for a good time, and just walking through the door will have you feeling like part of the family.

Brother Marcus’ Covent Garden site is its largest, with two terraces overlooking The Yards between Mercer Street and Upper St Martin Lane. As well as breakfast, brunch and mezze, the Covent Garden site serves up Marcus’ Choice – a curated set menu where your server will choose surprise dishes for you – and a pre-theatre menu from 5-7pm Tuesday through Friday. For the ultimate West End evening, there are two bars - one on each floor - with high seating serving up cocktails using Eastern Mediterranean herbs, spices and liquors, as well as a long list of Greek wines.

To truly transport guests to the Eastern Med, loosely arranged terracotta tiles, muted earthy tones and artisan ceramic plates line the walls, while vivid green plants sit alongside woven, wicker, wood and rattan. No matter the weather, Brother Marcus brings a healthy dose of sunshine to Covent Garden.
